Daniel Caton

Daniel Caton had nearly a decade of experience in automotive lending before transitioning to the mortgage lending industry. The skills and knowledge he built during that career translated well to his current role, which allows him to partner with individuals and families as they progress in their homeownership journeys. In fact, working with people is one of Daniel’s greatest passions, and he is dedicated to providing transparent, consistent communication throughout the mortgage process.

While he specializes in government and construction loans, Daniel offers a variety of loan programs in 48 states, through Waterstone Mortgage. He primarily serves the New River and Roanoke Valley areas, Smith Mountain Lake area, Southwest and Mountain Empire regions in Virginia, and West Virginia.

Outside of work, Daniel loves spending time with his wife and two sons. They enjoy lake adventures, hunting, fishing, building Legos, attending WVU football games, and playing with their dog, Saber. Daniel and his wife volunteer at their church, Blue Ridge Church, and he also enjoys supporting the United Way of Southwest Virginia. Daniel holds a B.A. in Social Science and an M.B.A. in Strategic Leadership.
