As a mortgage professional with more than 18 years of experience, Josh is committed to providing transparent, responsive communication and guidance throughout the loan process. He specializes in reviewing a client’s full picture and finding unique solutions for their mortgage needs.

While Josh serves many types of homebuyers, in recent years he turned his focus to homeowners who are experiencing divorce. He helps clients before or at the start of their divorce by creating a home financial plan that suits their situation. This could involve staying in their current home, buying a new one, or finding other mortgage financing opportunities.

Josh earned his Certified Divorce Lending Professional (CDLP®) certification through the Divorce Lending Association in January 2023. During his certification, he received special training on finding specific mortgage solutions for clients going through divorce.

Josh offers complimentary consultations to his clients in divorcing situations, helping them determine the answers to questions such as, “Can I still keep my house?”, “What can I use as my qualifying income for a new mortgage?”, and “Can I buy a home in the middle of the divorce negotiations?”

Through Josh’s divorce mortgage planning and guidance, many of his clients achieve their home loan goals despite the financial challenges that divorce often brings. While he works primarily with divorcing homeowners in Wisconsin, Josh can finance homes in 48 states through Waterstone Mortgage.

In his free time, Josh enjoys playing golf, spending time with his family (specifically his wife and young daughter), walking the dog, and staying updated on the financial markets. The advice he would give his younger self is, "Be patient; there is plenty of time. Help others more."
