Helping families realize the dream of homeownership is Michael Bowen’s passion. Working with Waterstone Mortgage in Albuquerque, he has been able to assist many families in obtaining financing, many for the first time, and it never gets old. To Michael, it's always been more than a job. Each loan is an emotional investment. Every customer is more than just a loan; they are his friends, neighbors, and community.

Michael has been providing mortgages to his fellow New Mexicans for more than 30 years. He has originated New Mexico Mortgage Finance Authority (NMMFA), single-loan close construction, FHA 203(k) Rehabilitation, Fannie Mae Home-style renovation, and the basic VA, FHA, and conventional loans. He has additional, specialized knowledge in self-employed analysis and loan packaging.

Michael’s extensive experience as a loan originator and knowledge of the industry allows him to tailor each loan to meet the specific needs of each individual client. Everyone’s story is different, so no one loan will fit everyone’s needs. His job is to communicate well and find that perfect fit.
