Wisconsin Law Enforcement Officers Resource Counsel (WILEORC) is a non-profit organization that provides support to injured law enforcement officers. Established in 2014 by officers injured in the line of duty, WILEORC’s mission is to assist officers across Wisconsin. Support is provided to injured officers through financial assistance, support groups, and fundraising – just to name a few.
Our very own Scott Howard, IT Security Manager, has been involved in law enforcement for over 20 years; 15 as a sworn-in police officer.
“Injured officers are often unintentionally forgotten and live with debilitating injuries sustained on the job,” Scott says. “Because of these injuries, many of these officers are left unable to work. Receiving financial support provides peace of mind and takes away some of the burden of being off the job.”
