Carrie Fincham
With more than 22 years of experience in the mortgage lending industry, Carrie Fincham excels at curating a mortgage solution tailored to meet each of her client’s short- and long-term goals. She offers a variety of home loans, including conventional, USDA, VA, FHA, jumbo, construction/renovation, and DSCR (Debt Service Coverage Ratio) programs, as well as affordable housing options from Virginia Housing. Through Waterstone Mortgage, Carrie also provides many non-traditional mortgage products for homebuyers with unique situations.
Carrie’s favorite part of working in this industry is knowing that she plays an important role in helping her customers finance their dreams. She has experience working with first-time homebuyers, move-up buyers, downsizers, real estate investors, and much more. Carrie is also skilled at helping self-employed borrowers and others with unique financial situations.
In her free time, Carrie enjoys swimming, hiking, gardening, and spending time with her children and grandchild. She formerly served as Chairperson of the Board for Girls on the Run, a not-for-profit organization that provides programs and resources to help young girls lead physically and emotionally healthy lives — and an organization which Carrie continues to support. She is also a member of Daughters of the American Revolution.
In addition, Carrie served for five years as a coach for Destination Imagination, which provides STEAM-related educational experiences for children, and volunteered as a Girl Scout leader for many years. She is also certified by the Virginia Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation (DPOR) to teach Finance Continuing Education and leads monthly luncheons for the Empowering Women in Real Estate group in the greater Fredericksburg, Virginia area. Carrie also supports local DHS children’s programs and food banks in her area.
