Jason Knobbe

As a senior loan professional, Jason Knobbe has more than two decades of experience in the mortgage lending industry. He specializes in structuring home loans to meet each client’s unique financial goals. By educating and providing transparent communication for his clients throughout the mortgage process, Jason empowers them to make smart decisions for their financial future.

When it comes to serving homebuyers, Jason goes above and beyond. Since 2013, he has earned President’s Club status each year, at both Waterstone Mortgage and his previous company — an elite recognition that is achieved by only the top producing members of the sales team. Throughout his career, Jason has served more than 3,000 homebuyers, originating over $750 million in mortgages. In addition, an impressive 94% of his clients say they would recommend working with Jason on a home purchase or refinance.

Jason serves homebuyers across the United States. Through Waterstone Mortgage, he has the ability to lend in 48 states, and he often works with clients who are relocating to different areas of the country. Jason and his team members are experts when it comes to providing financing for homebuyers who are crossing statelines; it takes a unique expertise to assist these buyers, and Jason excels in helping them find the best mortgage options for their relocation needs.

Building genuine, strong connections with business partners is also one of Jason’s strengths. He works closely with Realtors, financial planners, CPAs, and divorce attorneys to serve their mutual clients. For Jason, these interactions are more than just business — they are relational connections that allow him to assist homebuyers in the most effective ways possible.

When it comes down to it, Jason believes that people are the most important part of his profession. Taking the time to understand each buyer’s unique needs and customizing a loan solution to fit their unique needs is a priority for him.

Outside of work, Jason enjoys spending time with his wife, Becky, and their two young children, Cora and RJ. As an “outdoorsy” type, he also loves hiking and backpacking. Jason grew up on a family farm in West Point, Nebraska and graduated from Northwest Missouri State University.
